Setup IMAP using Microsoft Outlook 2010

To setup your Outlook 2010 Desktop Client, please follow these instructions:

Open Microsoft Outlook 2010
From the File menu, choose Add Account.
At the bottom, select Manually configure server settings or additional server types.
Click the Next button.
Select Internet E-mail.
Click the Next button.
Enter Your Name.
In the E-mail Address field, type your full email address (IE: username@yourdomain.com).
Select IMAP as your account type.
In the Incoming mail server field, type: mail.atlantisnet.com
In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) field, type: mail.atlantisnet.com
In the User Name field, type your full email address (IE: username@yourdomain.com).
In the Password field, type your e-mail account password.
Do not click the checkbox titled Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA).
Now we need to tell Outlook how to send your e-mail.
The next four steps are very important. If you are unable to send email then please check that you have done everything in this section:
- Click the More Settings button.
- Click on the Outgoing Server tab.
- Check the box next to: My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
- Select: Use same settings as my incoming server.
Click on the Advanced tab.
For the Outgoing Server, click on This Server Requires an Encrypted Connection (SSL)
For Outgoing server (SMTP) enter port # 587
For the Incoming Server, click on This Server Requires an Encrypted Connection (SSL)
For the Incoming Server (IMAP), enter port # 993
Click the OK button.
Click the Next button.
Click the Finish button
