To setup your Outlook 2010 Desktop Client, please follow these instructions:- Open Microsoft Outlook 2010
- From the File menu, choose Add Account.
- At the bottom, select Manually configure server settings or additional server types.
- Click the Next button.
- Select Internet E-mail.
- Click the Next button.
- Enter Your Name.
- In the E-mail Address field, type your full email address (IE: username@yourdomain.com).
- Select IMAP as your account type.
- In the Incoming mail server field, type: mail.atlantisnet.com
- In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) field, type: mail.atlantisnet.com
- In the User Name field, type your full email address (IE: username@yourdomain.com).
- In the Password field, type your e-mail account password.
- Do not click the checkbox titled Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA).
- Now we need to tell Outlook how to send your e-mail.
- The next four steps are very important. If you are unable to send email then please check that you have done everything in this section:
- Click the More Settings button.
- Click on the Outgoing Server tab.
- Check the box next to: My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
- Select: Use same settings as my incoming server.
- Click on the Advanced tab.
- For the Outgoing Server, click on This Server Requires an Encrypted Connection (SSL)
- For Outgoing server (SMTP) enter port # 587
- For the Incoming Server, click on This Server Requires an Encrypted Connection (SSL)
- For the Incoming Server (IMAP), enter port # 993
- Click the OK button.
- Click the Next button.
- Click the Finish button
